About Your Host and Speaker: Francine A. Carter, CEC, AELC, LCSW
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Empowerment Coach, and Professional Credentialed Coach, Francine Carter will explain how coach training can clarify, enhance, reinforce, refine and deepen the skills you've learned in graduate school and in your practice to make you not only an empowerment coach but an empowerment therapist! By the end of this presentation, you'll know why she believes that every social worker who experiences coach training will benefit in immense ways -- for themselves as well as every client they work. It will empower you to understand how to truly get even more substantial and sustainable results your clients -- and yourself!
As a coach, Francine has a unique ability to energize people to reach their potential by focusing on the strengths and talents they already have and assist them in enhancing them. Her training style is energetic, humorous, knowledgeable, and thought provoking with a focus on producing results by asking everyone to take action!
Francine is a Certified Empowerment Coach (CEC) and an Accredited Energy Leadership Coach both designated by the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching (iPEC). She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) awarded by the International Coach Federation. She also obtained her license as a Coaching Clinic™ Facilitator and trains leaders of organizations to coach their employees to top performance.
She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Francine graduated from Indiana University with Bachelors and Masters degrees of Social Work. Other training includes the DISC self-discovery process, the IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis) Continuing Education Human Resource Management Certificate Program, and extensive training in Critical Incident Stress Management services for trauma in the workplace.
Currenly, Francine owns Action Coaching & Training, LLC (ACT) -- a firm she founded -- with the vision of ACT being a company providing coaching and training focusing on action, responsibility, results and gratitude. Prior to founding ACT, Francine was the Corporate Development Manager for a central Indiana Employee Assistance Program Company. She was also the Director of Patient Services and Detection & Treatment for the Indiana Division of the American Cancer Society and has experience in the medical social work field at Indiana University Hospital and in the nursing home system. She has served as an Associate Professor at the Indiana University School of Social Work teaching Practice Evaluation at the Graduate School level.
